Ulla Meyerhof
State-licensed Heilpraktiker since 1976. Responsible for the content of ColorLightApp.
Anyone reading about health online should know who stands behind it. So here is the career of the person responsible for the content of this site and of ColorLightApp – verifiable and complete.
A note on the title: Heilpraktiker is a German state-regulated occupation. Practitioners must pass an examination held by the public health authority and are then licensed to practise medicine without being physicians. There is no exact equivalent in English; the nearest term is naturopathic practitioner.

Relation to colour light therapy
Colour light therapy according to Dinshah is one of the methods passed down within European naturopathy for decades. ColorLightApp and the accompanying handbook transfer that method to a device most people carry with them anyway. The colour assignments, durations and safety notes on this site follow the writings of Dinshah Ghadiali and the practice in which they were handed on.
Where this stands: Colour light therapy belongs to traditional and empirical medicine. It is not a conventionally recognised medical treatment and replaces neither medical diagnosis nor prescribed therapy. What is known about the research is set out on the Studies page.
